- Heat a medium pot with oil, add the onion, celery, carrot and garlic and cook over medium heat for five minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add the ginger and cayenne, stir to combine then add the water or broth.
- Bring to boil over medium heat, put a lid and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and cooked beans and simmer for 5 more minutes without the lid.
- Add miso and spinach and mix to combine.
- Transfer soup to a blender to turn into a smooth cream.
