"Macro" Bowls are a staple in the world of healthy and delicious eating. Similar to the poke bowls, they are typically comprised of a grain base, raw or cooked veggies, a protein of your choice and a healthy fat like avocado, hummus or a tasty homemade dressing.Follow this recipe and feel free to add or swap ingredients, as there are many combinations possible for macrobiotic bowls.

Instructions

  1. Separately cook the rice and lentils as per package directions or use leftovers!
  2. In a bowl plate, arrange all bowl ingredients as per picture.
  3. Combine all dressing ingredients in a glass container with lid and shake vigorously.
  4. Serve dressing over macrobiotic bowl and add a pinch of Himalayan salt!
