Broth is the foundation for many gut-healing plans.
While bone broths are known as the staple, there is a place for vegetable broths as well. This broth can be sipped anytime or made into a more complete meal by adding white rice
and/or lean, slow-cooked meats..

IN A LARGE POT ON THE STOVE
- Combine all ingredients in large soup pot. Bring to boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to simmer. Cover and cook for 4 hours.
- Strain broth into another pot or storage container. Discard solids.
- Season with salt.
WITH INSTANT POT
- Combine all ingredients in pot. Cover and seal. Using the “manual” function, cook on high for 30 minutes.
- Let broth sit for 1.5–2 hours.
- Strain broth into another pot or storage container. Discard solids.
- Season with salt.
